"Jessica"

a pencil study based on *fidget's excellent and beautiful "Self Study" - [link]

mainly a study of detail and technique, but i also try to render life in the way that i see it, and this is the way i see fidget's photograph.

i highly encourage you to see fidget's " Self Study" photograph and other works, at least if you want to see good stuff from a gifted artist.

my first submitted deviation, hopefully more to come.

No. 2 pencil on 5 x 7 sketchpad, with correction / black fill and sepia in Photoshop, and applied a log n gaussian blur process to give it a smoothed glossy look (essentially: duplicate original layer, gaussian blur, set opacity to 50%, repeat for 33%, 25%, 20%, 18%)
